ACCIONA's President, José Manuel Entrecanales, was in attendance alongside the yacht's 'godmother', Global Energy Forum President Kavita Maharaj to witness the yacht as a finished product. Skipper Javier Sansó speaks on behalf of the shipbuilding team and does the honor of christening the yacht Maharaj.  11/14/2014 ACCIONA presents the ACCIONA 100% EcoPowered, the world's first IMOCA 60 racing yacht with renewable energy-powered navigation, communications systems, hydraulics and engines. This video demonstrates the precise installation of the four-meter keel to the yacht's hull in preparation for the Vendée Globe. Step 1: Move the four-ton hull. Step 2: Building a cradle for the four-meter hull. Step 3: Connect keel and hull, to the millimeter. From there, the hydraulics are hooked up to the keel to control its direction.
