11/14/2014 ACCIONA presents this video on the preparations required for the ACCIONA 100% EcoPowered to set sail on its first 2,000-mile journey around the Iberian peninsula. Skipper Javier Bubi Sansó will be sailing single-handedly in the Atlantic Ocean in order to log the qualifying leg mandated by organizers of the Vendée Globe. In this video, Sansó explains the planning and difficulties involved in conducting the eight to twelve day mission, during which he will be checking consumption levels and verifying that the boat is ready for the main event.
