ACCIONA named preferred bidder for East West Link in Australia

The 6km Stage One section will connect the end of the Melbourne Eastern Freeway with CityLink, which currently causes major congestion for motorists travelling along Alexandra Parade. 

This section of the East West Link will be ACCIONA's first major infrastructure project in Victoria.  In New South Wales, ACCIONA is currently building a 19.5km upgrade of the Pacific Highway with Ferrovial, and in Brisbane, ACCIONA is leading a joint venture to build the $1.5 billion Legacy Way Project which won the 2013 international tunnel project of the year award.
