Shareholders’ Meeting green-lights 3.01 euros dividend for 2009

ACCIONA's Ordinary Shareholders' Meeting approved a €3.01 dividend for 2009, with a complementary dividend of €1.94. The dividend is 3% higher than last year's.

The Shareholder's Meeting also gave its approval to the appointment of Miriam González Durantez as Independent Director. The new appointment means that Independent Directors now make up 61% of the ACCIONA board, and 25% of the Company's board members are women. The Meeting also gave its OK to the re-appointment of Lord Tristan Garel-Jones as Independent Director.
