Javier Entrecanales replaces Juan Entrecanales on the Board of Directors of ACCIONA

The Board of Directors of ACCIONA has approved the appointment of Javier Entrecanales Franco as a director in place of Juan Entrecanales de Azcárate, who has tendered his resignation. The appointment was made by cooptation, to be ratified at the next Shareholders' Meeting.

Juan Entrecanales de Azcárate will continue as Honorary Chairman of ACCIONA.

Javier Entrecanales graduated in Economics and Business Studies from Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros (CUNEF) and obtained an Executive MBA from IE University. He commenced his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Madrid in 1997, and joined the Corporate Finance Department of BBVA Securities in New York in 2000. In 2004, he returned to Spain as Vice-President of BBVA's Leveraged Finance Department and in 2005 was appointed head of the Acquisition Finance Department of BNP Paribas for Spain and Portugal.
