Ras Abu Fontas 3 Desaliantion Plant

The construction of the Ras Abu Fontas 3 desalination plant represents a milestone in the desalination world, given that it is the first time reverse osmosis technology will be used on a large scale in Qatar.

ACCIONA Agua is responsible for the design, construction and 10-year operation and maintenance of the facility, which will have a capacity of 164,000 m³ per day and supply 1 million inhabitants. The final client for the water produced will be the Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA).

Kahramaa Desalination Plant "Facility D"

The contract covers the design, construction and later operation and maintenance of the facility. Umm Al Houl will produce 284,000 m3 per day as part of a large-scale Independent Water & Power Project (IWPP) that will produce around 2,500 MW of electric power and will reach 614,000 m3 per day after the start-up of the new facility. The plant, together with RAF A3, represent a real milestone in the world of desalination, for a 1,8 million inhabitants in total.

HAMAD MEDICAL CORPORATION

ACCIONA-GSSG provides cleaning and waste management services at the hospitals of Al Wakrah, Al Khor, Dukhan, two emergency paediatric centres, five health centres, 50 emergency medical centres and the HMC (Hamad Medical Corporation) central warehouse.

Metro de Doha - Gold Line "MEP Design Package"

The Doha Metro Gold Line comprises of 10 stations and tunnels sections connecting them with overall route lenght of 32 km.

Engineering design for Mechanical, electrical, BACS and plumping services. In addition to, coordination and interface with other services for 32 km of total alignment, including 10 underground stations, 4 interchange stations, 1 central colling plant, 11 tunnel sections and 16 km of twin bore tunnels.

SHAFALLAH CENTER

ACCIONA-GSSG manages an integral Facility Management contract for Shafallah's facilities in Qatar, providing employment to over 100 people. The contract includes cleaning, specialised maintenance, gardening, DDD, waste management, security and ancillary services.

SIMAISMA RESORT

Since 2016, ACCIONA Service provides cleaning services to the Simaisma Resort Hotel, belonging to the Preferred Hotels Group. The Simaisma Resort is located 50 kilometres from the capital, Doha, on the outskirts of the city of Al Khor.

Al Diyafa Hotel Appartaments

ACCIONA-GSSG provides cleaning services for rooms and communal areas, together with waste management at the five-star Al Diyafa Hotel Apartments, located in the old area of Doha.

THE HUNT EXHIBITION: PRINCELY PURSUITS IN ISLAMIC LANDS

The exhibition designed and executed by ACCIONA Producciones y Diseño for the Doha Museum of Islamic Art depicts the relationship between art and hunting in the Islamic world.

Opening Ceremony Event: Qatar Gas Laffan Refinery

ACCIONA Producciones y Diseño (APD) was selected by the Ali Bin Ali Group, one of Qatar’s most consolidated companies, for the joint presentation of the new Laffan Refinery 2 (LR2) at the Qatar National Conference Centre in Doha (Qatar) The event was attended by approximately 400 guests. For the event, APD has designed the stage and staging, the lighting design, the art direction, the creation and production of all the audio-visual 360º content, and the supply of audio-visual equipment.
