Oman
ACCIONA is present in the country with permanent facilities of ACCIONA Agua and ACCIONA Service.
The other business divisions of ACCIONA, e.g. ACCIONA Construcción, also actively carry out their activities in Oman.
ACCIONA Agua has a subsidiary in Sohar together with the local company Sogex Oman. This company is currently undertaking the refurbishing and operation and maintenance of the Majis Ro I, a 20,000m3/day desalination plant in the industrial port of Sohar.
ACCIONA Service also has a subsidiary with Sogex Oman in Dhofar that carries out Facility Management at Salalah Airport.
ACCIONA Producciones y Diseño has carried out museographic projects, for example in the Oman National Museum.
Projects
OMAN NATIONAL MUSEUM
Museographic execution and technical development. More than 250 display cases for around 5,500 pieces represent one of the greatest challenges of this museographic execution.
OMAN SALALAH AIRPORT
Cleaning services for the operations area of the passenger terminal. Since 2016 ACCIONA Service has been providing the cleaning services at Salalah Airport in Oman.
MAJIS RO I DESALINATION PLANT
Contract for the operation and maintenance for a period of five years, extendable for a further two years, of the seawater desalination plant in Sohar Port, located 230 kilometres northeast of Muscat, the country's capital.
