    ACCIONA Water has been operating in the country since October 2009 when it obtained its first contract for construction and start-up of the Peravia Water Treatment Plant (86,400 m³/day), which includes the works of a supply network for supplying water to an initial population of 138,000 people, expandable to more than 300,000 people. The project is currently under construction and is managed from ACCIONA Water's office in Santo Domingo.

    Peravia DWTP

    Peravia Drinking Water Treatment Plant (DWTP) in Dominican Republic, with a flow of 86.400 m3/day, provides the local population of approximately 138,000 inhabitants with a greatly required infrastructure. Peravia province has been blighted by a shortage of drinking water for more than 40 years. The project consisted of the construction and commissioning of the plant, which includes the works of a 17,5 km adduction line and the water supply network for the surrounding villages.
