    ACCIONA Infrastructure opened an office in Brazil in 1996, and the Real Estate, Water and Energy divisions arrived later. The company also provides import and export logistics solutions through ACCIONA Forwarding, its logistics company. ACCIONA's headquarters are in São Paulo and it has offices in the states of Brasilia, Fortaleza and Rio de Janeiro. ACCIONA currently has a workforce of 3,000 people in Brazil, where it has developed important infrastructure projects for public and private sector clients. It operates in the south, southeast and northeast, with headquarters in São Paulo and offices in Rio de Janeiro, Brasilia, Bahía, Fortaleza (Ceará), Curitiba (Paraná) and Novo Hamburgo (Rio Grande do Sul).

    Julio Prestes Station

    Julio Prestes Station

    ACCIONA Infrastructures carried out one of its greatest rehabilitations, reforming the Julio Prestes train station into a concert hall with a 1,600 capacity. Since 1999, it has been the headquarters for the Sao Paulo Symphony Orchestra and the State’s Secretary of Culture. In addition, this emblematic building has another nine rehearsal rooms and a library. Some stops continue to function like they used to, which makes it an example of a multi-functional building, integrated into the urban environment, ready to satisfy different needs.

    BR393 Highway

    BR393 Highway

    Concession for the design, construction, financing and exploitation until 2033 of an existing 200 km-long toll highway between the states of Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro. The project includes repairing the existing highway, 3 toll booths, construction of the buildings necessary for the operation and service for incidents and users, installation of traffic control systems throughout the highway, weigh station for trucks, remodeling connections and making third lanes. The works are currently being executed and are expected to be finished in 2016.

    Divinopolis Sewage Works

    Divinopolis Sewage Works

    ACCIONA Agua will carry out the design, construction and commissioning of two sewage treatment facilities, 16 pumping stations and a sewage water collector network for the city. The company will also be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the system for the next 26 years.
