Toowoomba Second Range Crossing (TSRC) Highway

41 km motorway bypass north of the city of Toowoomba in the state of Queensland, Australia.

The contract includes the design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of 41 km of highway.

The TSRC is one of the central elements of the Southeast Queensland economic development plan. It will be a bypass built north of the city of Toowoomba, allowing freight traffic to bypass the city by a quicker, safer route to the ports and Southeast Queensland.

Its most notable features include a 800 m viaduct over railroad and a 30 m cut in the mountain that, avoiding the need for a tunnel, will allow the passage of heavy and dangerous goods traffic of a large size.

On completion, ACCIONA Concessions will participate in operating and maintaining the highway in a 25-year concession.
