A30 Roadway

42 km of highway between Vaudreil-Dorion and Châteauguay, Montreal, Canada.

The contract includes the design, construction and financing of a 42 km roadway, and the later operation of 74 km of highway, comprising the new section and another already existing one of 32 km. 

The unique elements of the A-30 highway include a tunnel below the Soulanges canal and two large bridges, a 1,860 m one over the St Lawrence River and another of 2,550 m over Beauharnois canal. The latter has broken two North American records: for the longest incrementally launched bridge, and the longest single span launch.
