Wind complex in Oaxaca

Made up of three wind farms-Oaxaca II, III and IV-with a total operational capacity of 306 MW.

Electricity production equivalent to the consumption by 700,000 households.

Emissions avoided to the atmosphere: 670,000 metric tons of CO2, equivalent to the cleansing effect resulting from the photosynthesis process of 33.5 million trees.

ACCIONA is Mexico's leading wind power player, with a total 556.5 MW spread across four wind farms-the three Oaxaca farms and the Eurus wind farm (250.5 MW), located nearby.

In 2014 the company has been awarded contracts for engineering, construction, turbine supply and commissioning of two wind farms in the country, promoted by Cemex and Blackstone (among other investors), with a total capacity of 252 MW.
